Directions to The City Club:
I-77, NORTH 0R SOUTH: Take the Trade Street exit east towards uptown Charlotte. You will travel through the center of town (the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets) and proceed to Caldwell Street. Take a right onto Caldwell Street and travel one block to 4th Street. I-85, NORTH OR SOUTH: Take exit I-77South to Trade Street exit east towards uptown Charlotte. You will travel through the center of town (the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets) and proceed to Caldwell Street. Take a right onto Caldwell Street and travel one block to 4th Street. FROM SOUTHPARK: Leaving Southpark Mall, turn right onto Sharon Road, then turn left onto Fairview Road. Proceed 2 miles and turn left onto Providence Road. Continue for 3.4 miles until you reach the Harris Teeter (on right). At the corner of Queens Road and Providence, turn right to stay on Providence Road. Providence Road becomes 4th Street. Directions continued below at * (It is 2.6 miles from the Harris Teeter to the entrance of the City Club.)
FROM THE AIRPORT: Exit airport and follow the road to the signs to I-77. You merge onto Billy Graham Parkway. Turn left onto South Tryon Street and then take the Trade Street Exit. Continue traveling Trade Street through the center of town and proceed to Caldwell Street. Take a right onto Caldwell Street and travel one block to 4th Street. Directions continued below at *
* As you continue down 4th Street the last street you will cross is Tryon Street. Be sure to stay in the right hand lane and drive slowly (the turn will come up quickly). After crossing Tryon Street, you will make a right turn into an alleyway which begins directly before the overhead walkway. There is a large black sign indicating Interstate Tower and City Club Parking. Follow the alleyway to the left and up to the ticket dispenser with the mobile arm. Find parking in the Charlotte City Club reserved parking spaces. After parking, take the elevator to the main lobby of the building. There will be a sign indicating which set of elevators to take for the CITY CLUB. Press LC indicating LOWER CLUB AREA, which is on the 31st floor.
From Parking Deck to The City Club:
Enter the door marked “Lobby Elevator”. If you would like, grab a reminder card which indicates the level where you are parked.
If you parked on level 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8, after entering this door turn left and the elevator will be in front of you.
If you parked on level 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, or 8.5 you will first go through a door marked “Stairs to Building Lobby”. Go down one flight of stairs and through the door. Take a right and the elevator will be in front of you.
Take elevator to Lobby Level. A sign by the elevator will say “Push L for building Lobby & Follow Signs to the Charlotte City Club”.
Exit Elevator.
Turn right.
Take a big “U” turn to the right to second set of elevators.
During peak hours of the day we do have two express elevators to the Charlotte City Club. A sign will indicate which elevators are Express. If there are no signs, any elevator will take you to the Charlotte City Club.
In the elevator hit the LC button (LC stands for Lower Club) to go to the lower club level. Please stop at the Lower Club when you arrive.
When you arrive at the Lower Level of the Charlotte City Club, you will be greeted at the desk where someone will direct you to your event.
