Bank Fraud Lunch & Learn

The Central Iowa Chapter of RMA will be holding a Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, May 6th. FBI Special Agent Kevin Kohler will give a presentation on bank fraud. Using examples of recent fraud cases investigated in Iowa, Agent Kohler will discuss common schemes and trends, as well as SARS and FBI investigative techniques. Details as follows:

Doors Open at 11:00am
Presentation to begin at 11:30am
Lunch will be included with the event.
Cost: $10 for attendees employed by RMA member institutions
         $20 for attendees employed by non-member institutions

Kevin Kohler bio

Kevin Kohler has been an FBI Special Agent for 15 years. He investigates a wide-range of federal criminal violations including white collar crime and violent crime. His primary area of focus is complex financial crimes, including bank fraud, mortgage fraud, insurance fraud, health care fraud, corporate fraud, embezzlements, and public corruption.

Agent Kohler has been a licensed CPA since 1997. Prior to becoming an Agent, he worked in the Minneapolis office of Deloitte, a national accounting firm. He obtained his bachelors and masters degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is originally from Oregon, is married and has three children.
