Bill Loftus assumed the role of Director of Member Relations-Large Banks in April 2017. He presently will be managing a team of 5 Regional Managers who call and service the association's large-bank membership. He will continue to run the RMA Annual Conference and selected round tables in his new role.
Bill Loftus joined RMA in July 2013 as Director of Credit Risk after a 27 year banking career. As Director of Credit Risk, Bill was responsible for running many of the association’s credit-themed Round Tables which serve senior management at its member banks. In addition to the over 40 round tables that his group runs, Bill also chairs and produces RMA’s Annual Risk Management Conference, which routinely draws over 600 bankers per year from across the US and Canada.
Prior to joining RMA, Bill was a SVP and Business Banking Manager for Wells Fargo Bank in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Bill has had experience managing and working in the Business Banking space for 14 years. Prior to joining Wells Fargo and its predecessor banks, Bill was a government contracts lender and auto floor plan lender in the Northern Virginia market. Bill holds his MBA from Virginia Tech and a BA in Economics from John Carroll University.
