Teen Entrepreneur Academy (TEA)

Students from all over the the United States and Abroad come to attend this Teen Academy every summer. The purpose of the Teen Entrepreneur Academy is to educate, train and empower the next generation of honorable entrepreneurs (TeenPreneurs) so that they become difference-makers who lead productive, fruitful and purposeful enterprises and experience meaningful lives of integrity, serving others and making the world a better place.

Limited to only 100, TEA Students learn how to realize the business ideas or the passion in their hearts for business. Concordia's School of Business Dean and entrepreneur catalyst, Stephen Christensen, along with other business faculty and successful business leaders and entrepreneurs provide training. Student teams will write business plans and learn best business practices and strategies for starting a business.

During the month of July,  RMA OC colleagues led their student teams in writing business plans, best practices and strategies for starting a business.

RMA Orange County; Clearinghouse CDFI and First Foundation are among the donors who provided scholarships for deserving students from low income families and neighborhoods.  Other scholarship donors also included: Farmers and Merchants Bank, Comerica Bank, Far East National Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, Citi Bank and US Bank.

Congratulations to our Orange County Scholarship Recipients!

The 31st annual Irvine Valley College Foundation Scholarship Ceremony, held in May, honored students who have excelled in academics, performed distinguished community service, or presented justifiable need.  Contributions for scholarships can make the difference in students staying in college or leaving to work in order to make ends meet.

Awarded to students who are majoring in business finance or accounting, the Orange County Chapter of the Risk Management Association was pleased to be able to award five (5) Irvine Valley College students this year.
