Please join the Philadelphia Chapter of RMA as we welcome Peter Cherpack, EVP and Principal, at Ardmore Banking Advisors, Inc.  The Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) methodology is a major departure from the way the ALLL has been calculated in the past.  FASB has new rules regarding the need for robust data collection methods.  Mr. Cherpack will lead a discussion on meeting the need for capturing, storing, and reporting on loan level loss information.

Topics include:

• Antitrust admonition
• CECL hot buttons / Where is your bank in the process?
• Regulatory Expectations.
• Project Plan and Project Team
• Data collection  • Models/approaches
• Estimating the impact and potential issues
• Parallel testing
• Accounting/regulatory issues
