Topics
Attorneys from Haynesboone’s Denver office will discuss real estate lending documentation and structuring. The attorneys will provide a historical backdrop from past real estate downturns, including a discussion of bankruptcy law principles, that provide the framework for current market documentation and best practices for lenders. Haynesboone’s attorneys will also highlight the importance of “bad-boy” guarantees and special purpose entity and bankruptcy remote covenants in real estate lending structures. Finally, our presenters will discuss issues concerning defaults and lender liability that touch troubled real estate loans.

Event registration will begin at 11:45am with the 1 hour program to follow at 12:00pm.


  • An Attendee List must be provided to the Federal Reserve Bank 48 hours prior to the meeting.  Therefore, all reservations are due by Monday, September 23rd. Additionally, all guests are required to provide government ID being either a driver’s license or a passport and the reservation must match the name listed on the ID.  If you are registering for more than 1 guest under the same credit card, please email a list of the attendees to ramseyd@citywidebanks.com or sblaeser@crestmark.com.
  • All guests must go through metal detectors and belongings must be scanned as soon as they enter the building.
  • Metered parking is available around the Bank in downtown Denver.  Also, the Denver Performing Arts Complex parking garage is located two blocks from the Bank at Arapahoe and 14th Street.  The Bank’s main entrance is located on Curtis Street between 15th and 16th Streets.
