Loan Structuring, Collateral Issues and Loan Documentation

When:  Oct 27, 2017 from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM (CT)
Associated with  Wisconsin

If you participate in the lending process in your bank as a lender, credit analyst or as a credit admin person, you are going to have some part in structuring, collateralizing and documenting loans.  These three activities can be as important as the credit approval decision.  However, they are not always clearly understood by bank staff.  Yet, the successful collection of a loan can hinge on having all of these done correctly.

This seminar will increase your understanding of loan structure, collateral issues, and purpose of loan documentation.   It will enhance your ability to explain the reasons for structure, collateral and documentation to your borrowers:

  • Improve understanding of what structures and documents are needed for various types of lending.
  • Improve structuring and documentation related communication between lenders and credit admin staff.
  • Practical review of collateral issues, collateral monitoring and collateral problems
  • Increased understanding of the necessity of various documents.

This is not a “fill in the blanks” course.
It is more of a  “What, Why and When?” approach.

Lenders, loan processors, loan administrative assistants, compliance officers or anyone new to the lending process will benefit from this seminar.  Material will include multiple examples.
