2016 Charity Golf Tournament

Stayed tuned for information on the 16th Annual Central Arkansas RMA Chapter Charity Golf Tournament tentatively scheduled for June 20, 2016 @ the Maumelle Country Club.

Tournament History

Over the past 15 Years, Central Arkansas RMA Chapter has donated nearly $35,000 for various charity purposes. For over a decade the Chapter provided a $2,500 dollar college scholarship to a Little Rock Central High School Senior. In Late 2012, in light of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery helping to fill the need for assistance with college expenses, the board decided to support Junior Achievement of Arkansas as the benefactor of our 2013 Tournament. As you know, JA teaches Finanical Literacy and Workforce Readiness to K - 12 Students in Central and Northwest Arkansas - over 10,000 a year in fact.  We revamped and relaunched our tourament in June 2013, moving from Eagle Hill in Little Rock to the Maumelle Country Club.  We appreciated sposorships from Metropolitan National Bank for a Hot Grilled Lunch of burgers and hot dogs, Glazer's for Adult Libations and Coke Cola for Soft Drinks & Bottled Water.

2015 - Charity Tournament Benefactor - Junior Achievement of Arkansas - $1,500

Since 1987, bringing financial literacy, career-readiness, and entrepreneurship to students in Arkansas.

Junior Achievement is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. In fact, we are the world's largest and fastest growing non-profit economic education organization.

We form partnerships between businesses and educators which allow our classroom volunteers to use their personal experiences and JA's curricula to help students (K-12) connect the dots between the classroom and the real-world.  Our 500+ volunteers reach over 14,000 students in Arkansas annually.
