Meet Our Distinguished Panel

Charlie Meyer, President - Lovett Industrial

Mr. Meyer is the co-founder, co-owner, and President of Lovett Industrial, an entity formed in partnership with Frank Liu in 2020. Mr. Meyer's experience encompasses the development or acquisition of more than 20 million square feet of industrial real estate representing an aggregate value in excess of $1.5 billion. Mr. Meyer has an extensive track record in sourcing, capitalization, and execution of large-scale industrial development and acquisition projects across the U.S. Prior to Lovett, Mr. Meyer served as a partner and Managing Director at Hines Interests in Houston for 7 years, where he was responsible for overseeing Hines' expansion into industrial real estate development across the U.S. Prior to Hines, Mr. Meyer served as Director of Construction and Development for NewQuestProperties, where he oversaw the development of approximately 3 million square feet of retail and office projects. Mr. Meyer graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Economics and Spanish. He is a father of four, an avid duck hunter, and is passionate about serving the needs of Houston's underprivileged youth


Lilly Golden, 
President - Evergreen Commercial Realty

Lilly Golden is the Principal and Founder of Evergreen Commercial Realty with over 25 years of industry experience in tenant representation, property leasing, investment sales, and build to suit develo pment.  She currently represents highly desirable retailers such as HEB, Sun & Ski, Guitar Center, and Houston's Restaurants, leases high profile properties in the Galleria, Woodlands, and Katy areas of Houston, and has developed properties for Aaron Rents and Dollar Tree across the country.

In recent years Lilly has earned the "Heavy Hitters Award" from the Houston Business Journal and the "Costar Broker of the Year Award" numerous times.  She is a CCIM, the Chairman of the Houston ICSC committee, and a board member of The Site Source National Retail Broker Network which includes 40 brokerage companies across the country.

Lilly graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Engineering and from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business with an MBA.  Prior to forming Evergreen in 2005, Lilly worked at JLL in Chicago, Wulfe & Co., and Moody Rambin in Houston.    

 

Lilly is involved in several charitable organizations.  She plays tennis and golf, loves to ski and snowboard, and spends most of her vacations hiking.  Favorite areas for travel include Peru, Patagonia, Africa, and Nepal.

David Jarvis, Principal - John Burns Real Estate Consulting

David has more than 25 years of real estate and home building experience in a variety of concentrations including land acquisition and development, land planning, home building, commercial real estate and residential sales.

Prior to joining John Burns Real Estate Consulting, David Jarvis worked as Executive Vice President of McAlister Investment Real Estate, a real estate investment firm focused principally on undeveloped land parcels in the metropolitan markets of Texas and the Sun Belt states. David managed McAlister Investment Real Estate acquisitions, coordinates deal structure, and conducted market research. David served as Houston Director for an information technology company where he directed their Houston Advisory service and Consulting Services for the state of Texas.  Additionally, he is a Licensed Broker in the State of Texas.

David holds both the CCIM and MIRM education designations. David received his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the DePaul University.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time on his boat.



Moderated by Tony Ross,  EVP & CCO - Woodforest National Bank

Tony Ross' 30+ year career in banking has included general management, new business development, credit analysis, credit administration, and capital markets experience. Concurrently, Tony held a succession of increasingly more responsible positions within the Florida Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve retiring in 2012 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Infantry. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Ross joined Woodforest National Bank in 2016 in The Woodlands (Houston) as Chief Credit Officer where he is responsible for effective, sound, and consistent underwriting and management within the bank's loan portfolio and the achievement of business goals related to loans and deposits, fee growth, profitability, client retention, and credit quality. Tony leads commercial, small business, and consumer underwriting, credit risk, real estate risk, loan review, and credit policy. He serves on many of the bank's committees including credit, ALCO, compliance, BSA, IT, and business continuity. Tony is also a past Chairman of the Risk Management Association (RMA) Gulf Coast Chapter, past President of RMA's Texas Chapter, and is RMA-Credit Risk Certified.

Prior to joining Woodforest, Tony was Executive Vice President and Senior Credit Officer for Iberiabank where he was responsible for reviewing and approving loans to Texas corporate, commercial and commercial real estate, healthcare, private banking, oil and gas exploration & production, and energy service businesses along with maintaining overall portfolio quality.
