The Virginia Enterprise Zone program is a collaboration between state and local government, encouraging job creation and private real property investment (new construction and rehabilitation or expansion) in select areas in Virginia. This is achieved by designating Enterprise Zones throughout the state and providing two grant-based incentives, the Job Creation Grant (JCG) and the Real Property Investment Grant (RPIG), to qualified investors and job creators within those zones, while the locality provides local incentives as well. This lunch and learn focuses on the state portion of this program.
