Please join us for an informative Lunch & Learn to hear about our expert panel’s views on the current environment impacting Commercial and Industrial (“C&I”) loans. The increasing interest rate environment, inflation, bank distress and slowing economy is expected to further affect portfolio management and underwriting of C&I loans.  Our panelists will share their respective viewpoints regarding current issues, loan origination, solutions to problem loans, risk management and legal actions. We will go over some of the telltale signs of a problem loan and actions that lenders should take to help enhance ultimate recovery. Panelists include:

  • Christopher Colella is currently EVP & Chief Credit Officer of Commercial Bank of California and experienced in approving credit facilities and developing credit risk management practices.
 
  • Leslie Reuter is an experienced Special Assets professional with significant management experience in Special Assets, Asset Based lending, Credit Administration, and Regional Commercial lending.
 
  • Dana Mackie is a Managing Director at Northpoint Business Advisory which provides a full range of financial advisory services such as cash flow/profit improvement, sell-side advisory, debt capital sourcing as well as the development and implementation of business restructuring strategies.
 
  • Barry Smith has extensive experience in business and commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, real estate, loan workouts and restructuring, provisional remedies, receiverships, collections, and post-judgment enforcement. He also handles complex defense litigation including tort, contract law, and real estate.
