Lending to the O&G industry requires careful underwriting, appropriate structuring, experienced and knowledgeable lending staff and sound loan monitoring and administration practices. Come join your fellow risk management professionals and learn what bankers need to know about lending to this specialized industry.  This educational event will provide guidance on the basics of O&G lending, understanding petroleum engineering reports, and stress testing O&G customers.   The class will also build on the prior class and address defining appropriate covenants, lending parameters, and how to build a lending policy, etc.

PRESENTER:   Chris Mostek, Consultant, Mostek Enterprises LLC

 Chris formed Mostek Enterprises in 2023 to assist O&G companies with financing/refinancing options at Banks with the focus of helping companies with the financial analysis and presentation on acquisition/investment opportunities. His services also includes working with banks on policy upgrades and the underwriting processes including the Engineering Report Analysis, approved PE’s and Attorney’s, price deck, and procedures. Chris has 16-years of energy lending experience at multiple banks in Oklahoma City. Chris found his niche in the O&G industry in 2006, when he began working for Diamondback Energy as an Operations Manager and then joined Coppermark Bank as an Energy Lender in 2007. He retired from Arvest Bank in 2022 where he served as the Senior Vice President –Energy Lending in Oklahoma City since 2019. In this role, Chris served as Arvest-OKC’s first dedicated energy lender and helped to establish the OKC Market’s energy portfolio.
