Our Distinguished Moderator and Panelists: 

Jenifer Waller (Moderator) 
Jenifer Waller was promoted to Chief Executive Officer and President in January 2022 after serving as President since 2020. Waller joined CBA in 1999 as the Senior Vice President responsible for state government relations and banking advocacy. In 2016, she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer accountable for the daily operations and management of the association. Prior to her days at CBA, Waller spent almost five years as a bank examiner for the Colorado Division of Banking. Waller gives back to the community through her participation in numerous civic and educational programs including trustee for Graduate School of Banking - Colorado and Madison, board member for Colorado Civil Justice League, Compliance Alliance, Common Sense Institute, Imagination Library, Society of State Bank Executives, the Western States Director Education Foundation, and The Colorado University School of Business Finance Advisory Council. Waller enjoys politics and volunteering for campaigns. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her sons Joe and Travis and husband Doug.

Bruce Alexander 
Bruce Alexander is President and CEO of Vectra Bank Colorado and has served in this role since 2000. Prior to leading Vectra Bank, Bruce was Executive Director of the Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) and has another 20 years of experience in leading and managing other financial institutions across Colorado. Bruce is a fifth generation Coloradoan and is a graduate of the University of Virgina. He was previously appointed twice as a director of the Kansas City Federal Reserve, Denver Branch and has served on the board of directors for the Downtown Denver Partnership, Denver Health, Colorado Chamber of Commerce, Visit 
Denver, and Colorado Bankers Association. Bruce is currently on the board of directors for the Denver Housing Authority, is a member of the Colorado Forum, and is the current Chairman for the Colorado branch of The Nature Conservancy.

Koger Propst 
As president and CEO of ANB Bank and the Sturm Financial Group, Koger Propst brings more than 40 years of experience in community banking with a focus on creating alignments that allow the bank, its employees, and its customers to achieve mutual goals. A Colorado native, Koger earned his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Denver and continued his education at the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. Koger is active with the ICBA (Independent Community Bankers of America) and serves as board chair of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust. He is a past chair of the Colorado Bankers Association, the Community First Foundation and the Colorado board of trustees of the Nature Conservancy. In addition, Koger remains an active volunteer in the community. 

Ashley John Burt 
Ashley Burt is President and CEO of The Gunnison Bank and Trust Company. He has been with the bank for 27 years and served in the role of President for the last 19 years. He spends time in the main office in Gunnison, in the branch in Crested Butte, and the Loan Production Office in the Denver Tech Center. Ashley also recently retired from the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Federal Reserve, Denver Branch. Prior to joining the Fed Board, Ashley served on the boards of: The Colorado Division of Banking, Independent Bankers of Colorado, and was chairman of Colorado College Invest, the State’s 529 board.
