Robert was featured in a statewide glossy magazine called Talk Business & Politics. As a partner is a large Little Rock based law firm, Robert works with Mergers & Acquisitions in the financial sector and is an acknowledged authority on the subject.  The interview focused on Arkansas Banks, M&A activity and profitability.  Great job, Robert!

Phillip Partain - Simmons Bank

Phillip Partain celebrates 20/20: 20th Anniversary with Simmons Bank this Quarter and his 20th Wedding Anniversary. A long-time associate with the former Metropolitan National Bank, Phillip has worked in a variety of roles including retail management and commercial lending. He is married to his wife Jamie. They have two children, one daughter and one son. Both attend Bryant High School. Partain is also an acknowledged ‘Grill Master’ as any attendee of the chapter’s annual charity golf tournament will tell you.

Ryan Carrus, CAIA, CFP - Carrus Financial Management
Chapter Vice President

Chapter Vice President Ryan Carrus has achieved the highly coveted recognition of CFP – Certified Financial Planner. This distinction is very noteworthy. It helps to separate the good financial advisors from the excellent financial advisors. Ryan is one of the excellent advisors and we are pleased to have him involved in our chapter board. Ryan devotes a great deal of his personal time to mentoring and teaching, most recently at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock.

Frisbee was promoted to Commercial Loan Officer II / Assistant Vice President.  He has been with Centennial for nearly five years.  He started with the company as a Consumer Loan Underwriter and moved to Commercial Lending.  He is based out of the North Jacksonville Branch.

Chapter President

David represented the Central Arkansas Chapter as RMA HQ Annual Chapter Leaders Conference in Philadelphia, PA. This particular CLC celebrated the Centennial Anniversary of the origin of RMA.  First Class lodging, Philly Hospitality and local celeberty impersonators added to the fun.  215 registered attendees from 86 chapters across the United States particpated in the two day event.

After serving the past seven years with Centennial Bank in the Financial Servicing Department, including the past few years managing the Financial Advisors while also maintaining a significant portfolio of his own, Ryan has started his own firm.  Carrus Financial Management is a full service brokerage, advisory and insurance firm.  He has volunteered with Central Arkansas RMA for the past two years and was recently elected to another term as Chapter Vice President.

Neal Wimberley - Rabo AgriFinance
Board Member

Neal has left AgHeritage Farm Credit Services after nearly 15 years of service for a new opportunity in the same industry.  This is a significant career move for Neal and his Family.  We are very proud of him and his accomplishments both professionally and with the chapter board.  Neal served on the 2014 Golf Committee responsible for our Annual Golf Tournament.  He assumes the role of Vice President and Senior Relationship Analyst at Rabo AgriFinance.

Christine was recently awarded the 1st ever Central Arkansas RMA Chapter - President's Award for Outstanding Service in her role as Treasure.  She also served as Co-Chair of our 2014 Signature Event on May 20 - Women in Banking Luncheon / Panel Discussion.  Christine has volunteered for the chapter for the past two years.  In addition to public recognition at the WIB Luncheon and a lovely plaque, she also received a Visa Gift Card.

Christine recently completed the Arkansas Bankers Association Commercial Lending School, held in Little Rock. This week long, live instructor based training is a comprehensive overview on all aspects of commercial lending including underwriting, credit analysis, financial statement review and risk management.

Recently, Karen joined Commerce Bank in Texarkana, Arkansas as Credit Department Manager.  She has nearly 15 years experiecne in banking, most recently spending 10 years as a Credit Analyst / Assistant Vice President with Summit Bank and Trust in Benton, Arkansas.  Davidson is proud of the promotional opportunity and excited to return to her native home area.

Davidson was presented with a Special Volunteer Service Award in recognition of over 10 years of volunteer service, including Past President of Central Arkansas RMA and current Secretary Mid-South Regional RMA. Our Board of Directors pre-sented Davidson with an official RMA Optical Frost Award personalized to recognize over a decade of professional volunteer service. We also provided her a Visa Gift Card. Brandon Bryant, Memphis Com-mercial Banker and President of Mid-South Re-gional RMA, attended to thank Davidson for her dedication and commitment. The Mid-South Board presented her with a special gift certificate to a fa-vorite Little Rock restaurant. Davidson is an Assis-tant Vice President in the Credit Department with Summit Bank and Trust in Benton, Arkansas.
