Fraud schemes continue to grow more complex, crossing industries, jurisdictions, and financial institutions. In this session, attendees will hear directly from FBI forensic accountant Rachel Goold on how financial crimes are identified, investigated, and ultimately proven through the numbers.
Rachel Goold, CPA is a Forensic Accountant for the FBI of Kansas City. FoA Goold has been with the FBI for 5 years and has been involved in investigations covering threats such as international and domestic terrorism, public corruption, healthcare fraud, and white-collar violations. FoA Goold has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She has used her skillsets in accounting to become a resource in the Kansas City division for complicated tracing methodologies.
