Members of RMA’s Mid-South Chapter benefitted from an excellent Chapter Leaders Conference in June 2019. The conference, held in Scottsdale, AZ, brought together chapter leaders from across the country to exchange ideas and obtain leadership skills through various sessions on membership, board management, education, etc. Everyone learned to “swing for the fences” which coincided with the baseball theme of the conference. As is the tradition during the conference, the Mid-South Chapter hosted a dinner which was held at The Old Town Tortilla Factory for chapter leaders under the Mid-South umbrella. The dinner is held to encourage camaraderie and to ensure that open lines of communication are kept within our region. Kudos to Julie Nosser, from the New Orleans and Mid-South Chapter boards, who assisted in putting together the conference with other RMA members from across the U.S.
