Registration Desk Hours

Name badges and conference material can be picked at the RMA Registration Desk. Hours for the registration desk are as follows:

    Tuesday, 5 March          0900 – 1900 hrs  
    Wednesday, 6 March     0830 – 1300 hrs 
    Thursday, 7 March         0830 – 1300 hrs  

          
Name Badges:
Registered attendees and their registered guest MUST wear name badges to all conference related sessions and networking events to gain admittance. For your convenience lanyards will be available. We appreciate your cooperation.

Speaker Presentations

Presentations can be downloaded from two (2) on-site Internet Kiosks, sponsored by BNY Mellon, to a USB-Pen/Flash Drive, sponsored by ING (available at the registration desk). Printed copies of the presentations will NOT be available at the conference.

 

Conference Attire

Business casual attire is suggested. We also suggest bringing a light sweater or blazer to the business program to prepare for variances in room temperatures.

Important Dates to Remember

 
11 February 2013

  • Full Refund Deadline: Written Conference cancelations must be received by this date in order to receive a full registration refund, cancelation received after this date but before 25 February are subject to a service fee equal to 50% of the registration fee.

  • Registration vs. Housing Deadline: Individuals holding a hotel reservation at the conference rate must have a matching conference registration with RMA not later than 5:00 p.m. (EST). RMA reserves the right to request that you cancel your hotel reservation or instruct the hotel to charge the hotel rack rate for the reservation if not registered for the conference by this date.

  • Registration List Deadline: New or substitute names received after this date may not be included in the conference book.  Your name will appear on the supplemental listing, if registered by 25 February, which will be available as a handout at the conference.
     
  • Reservation cut-off date: Reservations received after this date will be accepted based on hotel availability. Please be sure to book your reservation as early as possible. All room reservations changes/modifications and/or cancellations MUST be emailed to Ms. Ada Tang at Ada.Tang@marriotthotels.com.

  • Deadline for cancellations: Registrations fees (including those for spouse/guest) will not be refunded after this date.  Substitutions from within the same organization can be made at any time.

Private Events

PASLA and RMA would appreciate your cooperation in refraining from scheduling any other events, such as sightseeing and special tours,during the conference business sessions (0900 – 1600 hrs).  We ask that you please support the sponsors of all of the conference events by recognizing their financial commitment to the particular event (food/beverage cost) and the conference. 

A private event is an invitation-only outing, dinner party, or reception hosted by an organization or group other than PASLA or RMA. Private events are not considered part of the conference program agenda and, as such, should not interfere with the conference program or sponsored events. Please refrain from holding events on Monday evening before 2200 hrs. If your organization is planning an event for Tuesday or Wednesday evening, please plan to start the event for 2000 hrs or later. If your organization is providing transportation to off-site venues, delegates should not be picked up at the hotel until 1930 hrs.

The JW Marriott Hong Kong has excellent restaurants and rooms available for private dinners and meetings, as well as great venues for more casual events.
