- Securities Lending Tutorial. For professionals new to securities lending, this session will provide a basic conceptual understanding of securities lending functions and how to distinguish among the various forms of securities lending transactions.
- Operations and Technology Session. The PASLA Operations and Technology Subcommittee and leading technology vendors will discuss the current challenges in the market and what technology firms are doing to remediate. The discussion will revolve around two streams. The first will be operational challenges and efficiencies, including entry requirements to emerging markets, regulatory developments in Asian markets and current and potential CCP models. The second area of focus will be concerning methods in which technology can assist in improving efficiency in the Asian markets.
