As with any organization, there are certain language conventions and presentations that are specific to RMA. This guide contains these conventions and will enable RMA writers, editors, content managers, and freelancers to produce material for RMA in a consistent manner. It addresses topics specific to RMA that might differ from or might not be adequately covered in The Chicago Manual of Style. In addition, the guide addresses some of the most frequently raised questions of style in order to offer a quick reference tool.

The professional recommendations made in this guide are designed to achieve the following objectives:

  • To ensure that every publication achieves a standard of professionalism appropriate for RMA.
  • To ensure stylistic consistency within individual publications and across all RMA publications.
  • To increase efficiency by eliminating the need to repeatedly address the same stylistic details for every publication.
